Fall in the Neighborhood
Posted on Sep 4th, 2024

Dear Neighbors,
Happy Wednesday! I can't believe how fast this year has flown. I feel like we were just talking about our Spring Social and now fall is quickly approaching. I wanted to go ahead and send out some upcoming dates and events happening in our neighborhood in the next upcoming months.

September, from an HOA standpoint, seems to be a (dare I say it) slow month with really nothing happening. The board plans to have our private quarterly meeting this month and we will upload a copy of the minutes afterwards.

October, however, seems rapidly approaching with all sorts of fun events happening. First, our Fall Yard Sale on 10/5. This will fall on the same weekend as Waterford's Fall Yard Sale to hopefully drive more traffic into our neighborhood as well. I have found this amazing feature on google that will allow us to have an interactive map with all of the addresses listed who plan to host a yard sale, how cool! Please be sure to either comment on the facebook post in the "Glasford Neighborhood; Lex, KY" page or email us back here with your address. I've attached our "flyer" for our yard sale if you wanted to share with friends and family and/or on your personal social media pages as well.
Starting 10/20-10/30 we will have a Halloween Decorating Contest, where we will give away a prize for the best decorated house in the neighborhood like we did for Christmas last year. I loved seeing so many neighbors out and about looking at all of the decorations and would love to see that type of neighborhood interaction and friendly competition again. Stay tuned for more information on how to enter and start planning your outdoor decor!
We will also be hosting our Fall Festival and are currently working out the logistics of inflatables, board member's schedules, location, etc. so keep an eye out for more updates for our most popular event throughout the year.

As always, if you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thanks for being a good neighbor,
Mikayla Qualls
